Afghanistan: US military convoy struck by Taliban IED (VIDEO)

US military convoy has been struck by improvised explosive device carried out by Taliban militia in Shinwan area of Balabuluk district on 26th November.

Video footage were released by activists on social media, shows large US military convoy passing through Farah’s Balabuluk district that being hit by IED bomb planted by Taliban militia.

According to the source, the US, NATO forces didn’t comment on this attack, as Taliban claimed responsibility for it.

In a previous incident, CNN reported that “A fourth US service member has died from wounds sustained in an attack with an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan last week”.

The Pentagon on Wednesday identified the U.S. service members killed in central Afghanistan this week by a roadside bomb in what is the deadliest day for American forces so far this year.

Three others, Army Capt. Andrew Patrick Ross, Army Sgt. 1st Class Eric Michael Emond and Air Force Staff Sgt. Dylan J. Elchin, were killed when their vehicle was struck by the improvised explosive device near the city of Ghazni, Afghanistan.
