+18: Syrian units drive out ISIS terrorists in eastern Swedia, inflicting casualties [pictures]

The government troops keep rolling on ISIS occupied territories in eastern Sweida province, establishing fire-control over a swath of lands following steadily advance.

The Syrian Arab Army struck the Islamic State’s defenses early this morning, gaining new terrains amid heavy clashes and bombardment, military source said on Wednesday.


“Syrian troops under heavy air-strikes cover, managed to advance and impose fire-control over several caves and hideouts inside the difficult rocky area of Tulul Al-Safa” the military source added.

Tulul Al-Safa – which majority is under ISIS control – is a volcanic plateau, the more Army advances towards it, the more difficult its terrains gets.
