Pictures reveal arriving of S-300 missile system into Syria .

Russian media have published satellite images showing seven Russian I-76 military transport aircrafts at the Hameimim air base in Syria

The arrival of these planes at the Hameimim base is proof of their transfer to S-300 air defense systems to Syria, the Russian newspaper Vzglad said

The presence of these seven aircrafts at Humimim airport is strictly linked exporting the S-300 air defense systems to Syria, as well as the Russian electronic warfare equipment and jamming systems

In the past few days, the airport has witnessed the arrival of the first batch of Russian electronic warfare systems, also transported by the Russian l-76 aircraft, as several images from the airbase were posted on social media.

The main job of these groups will be to disrupt communication systems and control aircraft that could attack the Syrian territory.

On September 24, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shweigo took a decision to supply Syria with the S-300 systems to boost Syrian air defense forces after the Il-20 plane crash.

Russia decided to send S-300 systems to Syria in response to the recent incident of the Israeli aircraft using the Russian plane as a cover while targeting Lattakia. However, Moscow blamed Israel for downing the plane mistakenly by the Syrian air-defenses.
