Syrian troops launch fresh operation against ISIS deep in Al-Badiyah – Map
The Syrian troops have initiated a fresh operation to expel ISIS jihadists who penetrated along Iraqi border to eastern Homs countryside.
According to military source, the offensive would has limited goals, sweeping out the entire area from IS that extending from Al-Sukhnah towards the vital T2 pumping station.
The Syrian and Russian Airpower conducted powerful airstrikes in the ISIS-held areas of eastern Homs.
The uninhabited region of eastern Homs witnessed alot of Hit-and-run assaults by the terror group of IS against the government positions near the T2 and T3 in eastern Palmyra.
