President al-Assad receives cables of congratulation on Eid Al-Adha

President Bashar al-Assad received on Monday a number of congratulatory cables on Eid al-Adha.

The cables were sent by the First Religious Judge Mahmoud al-Ma’arawi, Endowments Minister Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed, Justice Minister Hisham al-Shaar and Syria’s grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Badr Eddin Hassoun.

The cables hoped that peace and security would prevail all over Syria, praying to God the Eid would return with victory to the Arab and Islamic nations.

They underlined that the greatest Eid joy comes along with the successive victories achieved by the Syrian Arab army against terrorism and their supporters.
