Map update: Syrian Army tightens the noose around Daraa militants, liberating new border crossing.
The Syrian government forces keep advancing in multiple axis across the Daraa province, liberating new area in southeastern the city.
The Syrian military reported on Tuesday that the ground troops succeeded in gaining back “Gharez” area along with it’s prison, grain silos, and the Gaz company.The Gharez area is located 4 km to the southwest of the city.
After liberating the area, the engineering units instantly started to combine the area, dismantling large amount of IEDs, land mines, discovering a T-62 tanks also.
Moreover, the military source added that, the Syrian units managed to capture the old border crossing linking the city to the northern boundaries of Jordan.
