Map update: ISIS pocket keeps shrinking as Syrian military gains back new areas

The government troops – led by Tiger Force – keep converging on ISIS pocket in Al-Yarmouk basin of western Deraa province, taking back new swath of territories.

On Thursday morning, elite task forces managed to drive ISIS jihadists out from seven hamlets located near the Occupied Golan Heights, following clashes with the extremist group.

Meanwhile, the Syrian units positioned in Al-Quniatra city entered former Al-Qaeda-linked group bastion of “Al-Hamidiyah” town. [click on the map to preview the location]

In the far eastern countryside of Al-Swuaida province, the Syrian air-force delivered massive close-air-support airstrikes near Rami village, where ISIS terrorists attacked the village – yesterday – killing a number of civilians.
