VIDEO: International Homs – Hama highway finally reopened for the first time in 7 years

The International Homs – Hama highway was reopened to traffic after a seven-year interruption, the SANA news agency reported on Wednesday.
The agency added that the road officially opened after removing all the accumulated debris due to the circumstances of the war and militants violence who spread in the countryside of northern Homs and southern Hama, and rehabilitating it with all necessary services.
The forces of the Syrian Arab Army ended in May, work to reopen the Homs highway Hama.

That comes following a reconciliation deal with the rebel groups and evacuating them to northern Syria.
It is noteworthy that the reopening of the road provides great facilities to the traffic movements between Homs and Hama, and means greater economic and commercial growth than in previous years.
