Map: Turkey establishes the final observation post in southwest Idlib

The Turkish military has installed the last observation post in Syria’s province of Idlib, a day after the Astana 9 talks conclusion, which stressed to protect all areas included in the agreement.
Military convoy consisting of dozens of vehicles entered the village of Freika near the city of Jisr al-Shughur, and went to the village of “Eshtabraq” to set up the observation point, which overlooks Al-Ghab plain completely.
Opposition media reported on Wednesday that that 12th point is the last of the “De-escalation zones” agreement, as the rebel-dominated Idlib would come under a comprehensive cease-fire.
Since the beginning of 2018, the Turkish army has set up 11 observation posts in Idlib and neighboring Aleppo countryside, the most recent of which is Mount Shashbo in the Al-Ghab plain.
