Damascus breathes life: ISIS finally defeated [Map update]

Damascus breathes life is no more a fantasy or illusion, but a fact reinstated after 7 years of bloody war. The capital’s weary residents can now boast a peaceful life, no more mortars, bombs or explosions to disturb the world’s oldest inhabited city.

The Syrian government troops have finally established full control over the years-long bastion of the terror group of ISIS and various rebel groups in southern Damascus.
The 11 square km swath of territories include several districts of ” Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, Al-Yarmouk refugee camp, Assali, Al-Jourah, Al-Qadam and Al-Madniyah”
SANA news agency reported on Monday that “a temporary humanitarian ceasefire has been implemented on Sunday night to evacuate children, women and elderly men from al-Hajar al-Aswad area.”
Following this significant advancement, the Syrian Army is securing the entire capital from any danger since it was used to be in 2011.
The Syrian army launched a military operation on April 19 against terrorist groups south of the capital, Damascus.
