Russian envoy says US, UK, France at war on OPCW

The United States, France and the United Kingdom have literally plunged into a war on the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Russia’s Permanent Representative to that organization Alexander Shulgin said on Saturday.
According to the Russian diplomat, by delivering a missile strike on Syria these three nations have demonstrated that “they have no regard to the OPCW and are utterly disrespectful to its technical secretariat in the person of OPCW Director General Ahmet Uzumcu.”
“In this light, it becomes obvious that it is not Russia but the United States, France and the United Kingdom that are conducting a real war on the OPCW,” he stressed.
Shulgin alsso said that more and more member nations of the OPCW see that the United States, France and the United Kingdom are behaving in an improper way.
In his words, these nations “are incapable of giving any serious argument” to contradict the witnesses of the Douma incident who spoke at the OPCW headquarters in The Hague of April 26. These countries are sparing no effort “to dodge responsibility for their criminal actions,” he stressed.
