Syrian Army kills High ranking rebel commander in Eastern Ghouta

One of the highest ranking commanders of Faylaq Al-Rahman was killed in the East Ghouta region of Damascus, today, pro-opposition activists reported.
The Faylaq Al-Rahman commander, Abu ‘Ali Dhiya Al-Shaghouri, was reportedly killed during the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) attack on the Jobar-‘Ayn Tarma axis, which is located at the western corridor of the East Ghouta region.
Shaghouri was considered the chief of staff of Faylaq Al-Rahman, making him one of the most powerful members of this Free Syrian Army (FSA) faction.
