PICTURES: Russia ships huge batch of military gear into Syria
Turkish activists living near the Bosphorus strait, took pictures of a Russian transport ship loaded with a number of military equipment spotted crossing the Mediterranean towards Syria.
The Russian ship has been identified as the Ro-Ro Varyag (IMO:8019887) which is already well-known for carrying military equipment to Syria.

According to the pictures, the Russian cargo ships were carrying different kinds of supplies and reinforcement, most likely weapons, ammunition, vehicles and maintenance equipment.
