Jaish Al-Islam sticks in eastern Ghouta, refuses to get out – Buwaidani
Jaish Al-Islam commander-in-cheif Essam Buwaidani declared – on Saturday – that his forces aren’t going to leave the years-long Douma city in eastern Ghouta.
According to a voice note released on Jaish Al-Islam media, Buwaidani refused the Russian agreement to hand over Douma city to the government forces, saying that “Jaish Al-Islam will keep defending its stronghold as the victory is looming”
What’s more, Jaish Al-Islam is controlling over Douma city since the early years of the Syrian war, receiving direct support from the Saudi Arabia.
