Syria Map | Syrian Army liberates ISIS pocket in the countrysides of Aleppo, Hama, and Idlib

The Syrian Army seized control of the entire area of the pocket that is spread between southeast Khanasser to west Sinjar and northern Sa’an surpassing 1100km2 in size after fierce clashes with the militant groups in the last  days.
The Syrian Army has capture over a 155 towns and villages in the aforementioned countrysides after battles with Nusra and ISIS.
The full domination of the pocket followed a fierce battle yesterday evening with ISIS terrorists who utilized VBIEDs and suicide bombers to pave a way to Nusra positions in Idlib’s southern countryside.
 
The Syrian Army units and allied forces had managed to besiege the militants in this pocket after the military operation to capture Abu Duhour Airport was concluded
