Syrian Army repels suicide militants attack on key vehicles base in Harastra

According to military reports, the defensive troops of the Army vehicles base have defended against surprise attack launched today early morning in eastern Damascus of Harasta.
Led by Ahrar Al-Sham and Hayyat Tahrir Al-sham, the rebel attack struck the army base with VBIED. however, the soldiers were able to detonate it few meters before reaching the base wall.
The militants sources mourned the VBIED driver “Abdul Razzaq Al-Ansari” via social media, posting a picture of him too.

The attack came a day after a truce agreement was announced in the eastern region of Ghouta, based on the results of the recent talks in Vienna, that was not officially announced by the Syrian government.
