Syrian Army, allies expand control northeast of Abu Duhour

Syrian Army units backed by allies captured many towns and villages in Aleppo’s southeastern countryside Saturday evening.
Military media confirmed that ten villages located northeast of the strategic airbase and west of Tal Daman were liberated after fierce battles with Nusra terrorists.
Syrian Army units had managed to capture Abu Duhour Military Airbase early morning after a successful military operation that materials with an advance from several southern and eastern axes on the airport’s vicinity preceded by an operation to capture the villages southwest of Abu Duhour village, a military source conferred to Muraselon.
Military media had announced the last village connecting the Syrian Army units in Aleppo and Idlib’s countrysides placing militants under siege in a big pocket estimated at 1200km2 in territory.
