BREAKING MAP: Syrian Army thwarts Al-Qaeda offensive, retakes town in northern Hama

The Syrian forces keep moving with massive power in the northeastern countryside of Hama province, overwhelming Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (formally Al-Nusra group).

Backed by Syrian air-power, the government troops – on Sunday – repelled intense jihadists car-bomb attack on ‘Shukhaiter’ town in the northeastern countryside of Hama.

Following the HTS attack, the Army units managed to drive all the hostile fighters out and re-secured the northern perimeter of the town.

Shukhaiter village is located 82 kilometers northeast the provincial capital of Hama city.

4 days ago, the Syrian force established full control over ‘Qasr Ali’ and ‘Sarha Shimaliyah’ villages following intense clashes with the terror group.
