BREAKING MAP: Syrian Army kicks out ISIS from another 4 villages in Deir Ezzor
The government troops – spearheaded by the Tiger Forces – keep pushing Islamic state jihadists out in northern of the recently liberated city of Al-Mayadeen, inflicting heavy losses.
Assisted by the air-power, the elite forces managed to restore another 4 villages located on the western flank of the Euphrates, 25 km to the south of Deir Ezzor city.
In total, the Army is now controlling 6 villages northwest of Al-Mayadeen, as Yesterday 2 more were recaptured from ISIS.
With this progress, the Syrian army is besieging the town of Al-Muhsin, Al-Bolil and Al-Faqat, stationed on the western banks of the Euphrates River as the map displays.
