VIDEO: Russian serviceman rescues Syrian soldier injured by jihadists in north Hama
A serviceman of the Russian Military Police platoon in north Hama countryside was filmed rescuing a Syrian soldier wounded by a massive jihadi attack.
The offensive, which was launched by the al-Qaeda-affiliate Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham last Tuesday, targeted a platoon of the Russian Military Police monitoring the de-escalation zone agreement.
The Russian soldiers fought off the attack for several hours before a battalion of the Syrian Army’s Special Operations arrived to help secure the Russian allies.
Three Syrian troops were injured in the process before the Russian servicemen manage to withdraw to a secure place.
Later on, the attack was foiled and the government troops have even assaulted the jihadi groups and recaptured new villages.
