In Motion: Syrian Army controls mountaintop west of Deir Ezzor

As part of its wide-scale military campaign to reach the besieged eastern city of Dier Ezzor, the Syrian forces have managed to drive out the Islamic State from an important mountain located to the west of the city.

Fierce battles were reported to have taken place with the battle-hardened militants before the Army troops gain full control over al-Bushairy Mountain.

Video footage captured in the recently-liberated al-Bushairy mountain shows burnt-out corpses of the death cult as a result of the military operations.
