Exclusive: Syrian Army fights back ISIS in Dier Ezzor, regains town

On Thursday afternoon, the jihadists of the Islamic state have launched wide-scale offensive, targeting the Syrian Army locations in southern Deir Ezzor axis.

An exclusive preliminary report confirmed to Muraselon, that the Syrian forces have managed to drive ISIS terrorists out from Kabajeb village which was taken earlier.

The sources denied ISIS allegations about capturing Al-Shawla village that located on Suknah highway, saying that Army units – supported by Russian air-forces – are repelling the attack in the eastern part of the village.

The field source added that ISIS succeeded to breakthrough 5 km width inside army areas in southwest of the embattled city, and managed to take control over Syriatel hill overlooking Al-Shawla village.
